Maybe Hitting My Head on the Ladder Had Repercussions
We bonked ourselves smack on the forehead this past weekend with a 40' extension ladder. Today, we solved one problem that had been a pain since last Thursday and just about smashed our computer over another problem.

On the one hand, we realized what was causing our fellow developers to not be able to check out or commit files stored in CVSNT. Last week, we casually switched the Group Policy applied to our CVSNT server. Dumb idea, since the new policy enforced directory/file permissions on C:\Program Files that restrained Users to Read and Execute only. Changed that.

On the other, we spent several minutes trying to start MySQL and load an external SQL file, only to have MySQL spin and spin and apparently destroy the contents of the file. After much frustration, we noticed that we were actually writing to the external file rather than reading from it. Story of using > rather than <. Fixed that.

Still waiting to see what other parts of our frontal lobe the ladder impaired.
