Anyway, this is the Beta version of this project, and I think I’m pretty close now. The only real issue is that the thing sags in places. Once or twice things get a little slow.
On the other hand, I found some real gems that were missing from the first list (such as April Wine’s “Oowatanite”) and dropped a clunker or two. (Chris, you were right about “Cocaine, ” though for different reasons than you gave, IIRC.) Some tracks I’m a little unsure of, but I’ll let you figure out which ones might not be quite right for this group. Now, do yourself a favor and hear the songs in your head rather than just thinking about the concept of them. It really makes more sense that way. Oh, the Bench. Those are songs that may go on the recording at the end with a little silence before them, you know, the bonus tracks. In this case, they’re songs that don’t quite make the grade, but are still pretty rockin’.
