One would think the Radio Program Recorder is the first step on the road to the long-awaited and much clamored-for Radio TiVO, but on further inspection, it appears it’s not. In addition, it looks like you can only record conservative talk radio with it. How’d they do that?
I didn't think anyone would find out about the special disgronification circuit in the Radio Program Recorder (RPR). My hat is off to you. The disgronification circuit was specifically designed to sample the AM/FM radio's output, send it through an inverse fourier transform, clip it, average it, and then heavily filter it so that only intellectually honest concepts and ideas are sent out to the digital recorder. When you listen to the recorded output with your car radio (using the RPR's FM transmitter) you will hear only that talk which made it through the disgronificator.
We had to introduce a new model with a recording capacity of 7hrs and another one with almost 11hrs (with optional 64MB SD card) just to capture the ideas from a single 3hr Rush Limbaugh show. For 3hr liberal shows we do offer a model with 1/2 hour capacity.
