The AP is reporting in its always-substantive entertainment wire that hip-hop performer (though they call him a rapper — but that’s not quite adequate, is it?) Heavy D has lost 135 pounds. I’ll still put him well north of two bucks, and add that I met him once at a movie and he did’t seem that heavy. Now that he’s lost weight, what is he gonna do?

What's he goind to do? Duh.
He's going to pick up the "Li'l" that Bow Wow threw out.
Man, would that be some kind of sad career statement. “My career is so bad right now that I’m scouring the hip-hop yard sales for monikers on the cheap. Snoop’s selling his ‘Doggy’ for only $20!” He could be Li’l Doggy D and recoup some of his investment off selling his ‘Heavy’.
Who else has downsized the name, or tried to? MC Hammer lost the MC, I know.
Are there futures markets in hip-hop stars' names ? Can you imagine how much money could be made off of Sean Combs alone ?
If P. Diddy become Puddy Tat, I clear a cool 16 large.
