I'm toying with the idea of switching Ishbadiddle over to WordPress. Toying, as in "have done no research on feasability of said move." But I'm getting tired of the commenting CAPTCHA being half-broken. Anyone out there have thoughts on the matter?

I used wordpress for awhile but there was something about it that rubbed me the wrong way. I can't remember what. Probably how it handled HTML markup. It might suit you, though.
I'm very fond of Textpattern, and for some reason since switching I've only had three spam comments, and those apparently manually-entered. So give that one a look too -- although the development pace on that application is disappointingly glacially slow.

Comment #2 :: link :: June 28, 2005 12:39 PMI'm a huge WP fan. 1. The developers are great and WP is constantly improving. The template/theme interface in WP1.5 is amazing. 2. There is a very strong user community upon which I have always been able to rely for support. 3. It is fairly easy to import your existing blog entries to WP from MT and even maintain all your existing permalinks.
