things magazine has a spate of links about Nihilartikels on maps, (Nihilkarten? Nihilorte?) fake places put on maps to trap copyright violaters, such as Lye close in London. I couldn't help but be reminded of China Miéville's story "Reports of Certain Events in London" (included in McSweeney's Enchanted Chamber of Astonishing Stories), about rogue streets that appear briefly, Brigadoon-like.
