Yes, I just got to play with one of the One Laptop Per Child laptops (a Thai version). They are pretty sweet.
LUCKY! [/napoleondynamite]
Did you get to crank it? If I'm reading the website correctly, it sounds like they took the crank off the laptop itself and moved it to the adapter?

Lots of dedicated buttons as well, also on the sides of the screen (I guess for tablet mode). The screen is pretty sweet, rotates 360 degrees and folds back to a tablet mode. The guy said that you can put it in "reflect" mode where you basically can use it like an e-book with no backlight in the sunshine. It's got a couple of antennae, one for rec'v and one for transmitting -- they are supposed to mesh together into a network. It's a great form factor, very small and light, seems durable (although I didn't get to test that!) and a friendly handle. There's a bunch of onboard software, I managed to figure out how to launch a text program and a browser in the few minutes I had with the thing.
